After cleaning, I tried the glass bottom with water, and the aluminum bottom with water, and they both leaked badly. I carefully checked to make sure I had the pans sealed correctly. This is definitely a very bad default with this pan. I do not advise buying it. I bought this pan after hosting a pamper chef party. I used this pan once and it leaked horribly. I talked to me consultant and she said she had the same one and hers never leaked, and that mine may have had some sort of defect. I called PC and they happily replaced mine.
